Welcome to my first blog post!

10 months ago, I arrived in Dublin to pursue my Masters. It was my first time ever stepping into a foreign land surrounded by a completely different culture. Warm smiles from people across the street and people following traffic signals were concepts unheard of, back in India. Soon after, my culture shock phase began and I started missing home immensely. However, Dublin didn't fail to impress me. After meeting my other fellow Indian classmates and joining the UCD Indian Society, I no longer felt home-sick during celebration times.

Here are some of the pictures of me and my fellow Smurfit 'desis' celebrating Indian festivals at UCD (Diwali, Holi and Durga Puja) and having a gala time.
